Selection and Use
This is a one-worker lanyard, not a two-person connection. Clip a tie-back connector to the designated sliding D-ring rather than directly onto the webbing. Confirm the member geometry, surface condition and wrap arrangement against the instructions. Manage the unused leg only as the manufacturer permits; an arbitrary harness ring is not necessarily an approved parking point.
Standards and Safety
Miller’s Titan documentation identifies this model and its connector configuration. ANSI Z359.11 is a harness standard and should not be used as this lanyard’s certification. Check the supplied lanyard label for its rated user range, applicable standard and installation limits. Calculate clearance using the complete system, including energy-absorber deployment, connector length and safety allowance.
Employers must select compatible components, provide training and plan for prompt rescue. OSHA 1926.502 addresses construction fall-protection systems; OSHA 1910.140 applies to general-industry personal fall protection. These are employer requirements, not OSHA product approvals.
