P950QC is the back-D-ring model; do not confuse it with P950QC-7, which adds side D-rings. A harness without side positioning attachments should not be promoted as a positioning harness. The U size designation does not mean every worker will fit: check the supplied sizing information and adjust shoulder, chest and leg straps before use.
Standards and Safety
Miller’s SP190 sheet lists a 400 lb maximum working load and general OSHA, ANSI and CSA compliance. It does not specify the editions or every standards-specific capacity range, so confirm those details on the supplied label and instructions. Include clothing and tools in total user weight and apply the lowest limit in the complete system. Do not interpret hardware tensile strength as a worker capacity.
Employers must select compatible components, provide training and plan for prompt rescue. OSHA 1926.502 addresses construction fall-protection systems; OSHA 1910.140 applies to general-industry personal fall protection. These are employer requirements, not OSHA product approvals.

Are quick-connect buckles a substitute for checking fit?
No. Every buckle style requires a pre-use fit check. Confirm closure, strap routing and adjustment each time the harness is worn.
Does this configuration include side D-rings?
No. P950QC/UGN has a back D-ring. Side-ring variants use a different model designation.
