Premium Construction Harness: Safety and Comfort Combined
The full-body construction harness combines adjustable body support with padding for work at height. Six D-rings, a detachable padded seat and a heavy-duty tool belt provide options for a task-specific fall-protection setup. Select each connection according to Ironwear’s instructions and the jobsite fall-protection plan.
Five adjustment points help fit the chest, shoulders and legs. A quick-release chest buckle, tongue buckles at the waist and legs, and aluminum leg-strap grommets support adjustment. Detachable leg pads and back/shoulder padding cushion contact areas during wear.

Capacity and System Selection
Include clothing, tools and carried equipment when evaluating total user weight. The manufacturer’s 420 lb maximum does not extend the ANSI range beyond 310 lb or increase another component’s capacity. Check the harness label, connecting device and anchorage requirements before use.
Use the designated fall-arrest attachment point. Do not treat every D-ring, tool ring or web loop as interchangeable. Tool rings are not personal fall-arrest anchors, and the rear SRL connector does not establish compatibility with every self-retracting lifeline.
Applicable OSHA Requirements
OSHA 1926.502(d) and (e) address construction fall-arrest and positioning systems. OSHA 1910.140 addresses personal fall-protection systems in general industry. These are employer and system requirements, not an OSHA product approval.
Inspect before use, confirm adequate fall clearance and plan for prompt rescue. Remove damaged or fall-loaded equipment from service. Proper training, fitting and compatible equipment remain necessary regardless of the harness’s listed standard.
FAQ
Does this include a complete fall-arrest system?
No. Select compatible connecting equipment and an appropriate anchorage separately.
Can the padded seat replace fall protection?
No. The seat is a support feature; it does not replace the required fall-arrest system.
Is this a universal-size harness?
Ironwear offers multiple size configurations. Confirm the supplied size and fit over work clothing before ordering.
