Choose a split-leg welding apron when independent panel movement helps the worker maintain coverage while changing position. A standard apron has a continuous front panel; neither design guarantees protection in every posture. Check the fit and coverage while seated, standing and reaching before beginning work.
The 42-inch length is a garment dimension, not a guarantee of knee or lower-leg coverage on every wearer. Arrange the straps and panels according to the supplied instructions, and check for gaps where sparks or spatter could enter. Natural leather color may vary.
