North N750052L cartridges provide mercury vapor and chlorine protection in approved North respirator assemblies. Each cartridge includes an end-of-service-life indicator for mercury vapor. ASA lists this replacement package as two cartridges under SKU S750052L. The facepiece is purchased separately. Select this model when your respiratory protection program specifies mercury vapor and chlorine coverage without an integrated particulate filter.

Choose the correct mercury cartridge
N750052L and 75852P100L are different products. N750052L is the mercury vapor and chlorine cartridge without an integrated P100 filter. The 75852P100L combination adds P100 particulate filtration. A particulate efficiency percentage does not describe gas removal or establish protection against every chemical.
If your assessment also identifies airborne particles, review the 75852P100L mercury and chlorine cartridge as a separate selection. Do not substitute either model solely because the housings or product names look similar.
Before ordering, check the part number on the existing cartridge and the matching replacement specified by your program administrator. Keep the package label with your inventory records so purchasing staff can distinguish the gas-only model from the P100 combination when routinely restocking.
Check facepiece compatibility
Manufacturer documentation includes approved North 5500, 7700, 5400, and 7600 configurations. Match your individual facepiece and cartridge numbers to the approval label. These connections are threaded; they are not bayonet fittings. N750052L is not approved with the BP1002 backpack adapter.
Additional particulate filters require an approved assembly. Pad-style prefilters require the N750036 assembly. Do not attach loose filter material or substitute mounting hardware.

Mercury cartridge FAQ
Does this cartridge protect against other acid gases?
Its specified coverage is mercury vapor and chlorine. Do not assume protection against hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, or other gases from the chlorine claim.
Can it be used for an unknown chemical release?
No. This air-purifying setup does not supply oxygen and must not be used in unknown, oxygen-deficient, or immediately dangerous atmospheres. Required workplace use needs medical evaluation, fit testing, training, and a respiratory protection program.
