Selection and System Compatibility
Check flange thickness, geometry, structural capacity, travel path and permitted loading direction before selecting the anchor. Width within the listed range is not sufficient by itself. Follow the manual’s locking and inspection procedure. Keep the fall-protection connection configured to control swing-fall exposure and maintain the required clearance.
Manufacturer-Listed Standards
DFP lists ANSI Z359.18-2017 Type A and cites OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.140. The 5,000 lb connector strength is not a guarantee that the supporting beam or complete installation has the same capacity. Confirm the structure and system independently.
Inspection and Safety
Read the instructions before use. Inspect equipment before each use, remove damaged or fall-loaded equipment from service, and arrange prompt rescue. Follow applicable OSHA construction fall-protection requirements or general-industry personal fall-protection requirements.

No. Flange thickness, shape, installation and loading requirements also apply.
Is this a vertical-beam anchor?
The published application is a horizontal steel beam flange; do not extend that to unapproved orientations.
