North PR500 Series PAPR Respirator

North PR500 Series PAPR respirator uses a redesigned Sperian Opti-Fit Convertible Face-Mounted PAPR. NIOSH approved re-engineered tight fitting full facepiece is suited where a higher protection level is needed. Using the nozzle adapter that is included with the Honeywell North PR500, the Powered Air Purifying Respirator blower assembly mounts directly to the center port of the RU6500. The air-assisted respirator unit forces ambient air through the HEPA filter which helps remove particles and provide clean air. Its many respiratory protection applications include defense against specks of dust, fumes and mists, particulate radionuclides, radon progeny attached to dusts, fumes and mists. The assembly includes face piece with 5-Point head strap, water-resistant battery pack, blower, HEPA filter, shower cap and battery charger. Uses HEPA Filter, Part Number 108000-H5; 99.97% efficient for protection from all particulates including those with oil based aerosols.
