Concrete drilling, mineral dust and remediation require contaminant-specific evaluation; a general N95 rating does not establish suitability for every task. Choose the complete respirator based on exposure levels and applicable requirements.
Filter Holders and Cartridge Retainers
For approved direct-on-facepiece use, N750037 includes N750015 holders and N750027 covers. For compatible gas/vapor cartridge assemblies, N750036 includes N750038 supports and N750027 covers. Honeywell specifies N750036 for pad filters used with N7500-series cartridges.
These pads cannot attach or seal correctly without the required components. Check the exact combination against the approval label and instructions. Facepieces, cartridges and retainer kits are not included in this filter-pad pack.
What N95 Filtration Means
The NIOSH filter classification guide identifies N95 as at least 95% filtration under test conditions. The N designation means not resistant to oil. Filter efficiency is not a promise of equivalent wearer protection: facepiece fit, correct installation and workplace conditions matter.
The pads do not provide gas or vapor protection. Adding them to a cartridge does not expand that cartridge’s gas approvals. Do not use them for oil aerosols, oxygen-deficient atmospheres or IDLH conditions. Higher-efficiency filtration and different respirator types may be required by the exposure assessment or substance-specific rules.
OSHA Respiratory Protection Requirements
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 requires appropriate selection, medical evaluation, fit testing for tight-fitting facepieces, training and maintenance for required workplace use. Perform a user seal check each time the respirator is donned, and follow Honeywell instructions for inspection and replacement.
