Grip and Fit for Handling Tasks
The crinkle finish adds texture at the palm, while the knit shell allows finger movement. Check grip with the actual objects being handled: moisture, oil, surface finish and glove wear can change handling performance. Select a size that permits a comfortable fist without excessive stretching or loose fingertips.
What the Mechanical Rating Means
Cordova's product page lists EN 388: 3131: abrasion level 3, blade cut level 1, tear level 3 and puncture level 1. These are separate mechanical test results. The blade cut result is not an ANSI A1 rating, and the puncture result does not establish needlestick protection.
The cited manufacturer information does not establish an EN 511 cold rating or a minimum operating temperature. Assess exposure time, contact with cold surfaces and moisture before assigning these gloves to freezer work. Thermal construction alone does not determine a safe exposure duration.
Applicable OSHA Hand Protection Requirements
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 requires employers to select appropriate hand protection for identified hazards, including harmful temperature extremes. Selection must consider glove performance, the task, workplace conditions and duration of use. This is an employer requirement, not OSHA certification of this glove.
For additional insulation options, compare thermal glove liners and check that any layered combination preserves fit, movement and tool control.
Care and Replacement
Inspect the coating, seams and knit before each use. Replace gloves with holes, damaged coating or contamination that cannot be removed safely. Cordova permits washing at temperatures up to 50°C/122°F using commercial laundry detergent, followed by air drying or tumble drying on low heat. Follow workplace contamination procedures before laundering.

I bought these gloves because they were recommend to me by a co worker. Our company does not supply gloves so we have to buy our own. They conform to your hand so they fit nice a snug. The insulation is ok. I also bought some liners and they work great together with these gloves. The rubber palms also provide and added benefit of keeping your hands dry in that area.
