Tool Capacity and Attachment Selection
The 50 lb rating applies to each lanyard. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in the tool, connector and anchor attachment system, and do not combine lanyard ratings to support a heavier load.
A lanyard's rating does not establish the capacity of a harness attachment point. Use only an anchorage approved for the tool weight and potential drop forces; do not assume a 50 lb tool may be tethered to the worker. Plan clearance and routing to avoid entanglement and contact with people below.

Standards and Inspection
Ironwear states that model 2610 meets ANSI/ISEA 121, the dropped-object prevention equipment standard. This is not a personal fall-arrest rating.
OSHA 1926.501(c) addresses construction falling-object protection; 1910.28(c) addresses general industry. Tool tethering supports the prevention program but does not replace required head protection, barriers or other applicable controls.
