The DuPont Tychem 2000 QC125S Chemical Coverall is a lightweight yellow protective coverall designed for light liquid splash protection in industrial, chemical processing, petroleum refining, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pulp and paper, maintenance, and controlled cleanup environments.

Made with DuPont Tychem 2000 fabric, this coverall uses the strength of Tyvek protective material with a polyethylene coating to help resist a range of industrial chemical splash hazards. DuPont lists Tychem 2000 fabric as providing at least 30 minutes of protection against more than 40 chemical challenges.

The QC125S design includes a laydown collar, front zipper closure, storm flap, elastic wrists, elastic ankles, and serged seams. The serged seam construction uses multiple interlocking threads around the garment material to create a strong, stress-resistant seam for general industrial protective clothing applications.

This garment is sold individually by ASA, LLC, making it useful for controlled purchasing, replacement stock, facility PPE stations, lab support, maintenance tasks, and small-quantity procurement needs.

Bulk Ordering & Procurement Support
Need DuPont Tychem 2000 coveralls for a chemical facility, pharmaceutical plant, food processing operation, lab, maintenance crew, municipal department, industrial site, or recurring PPE order? ASA Supplies supports business, government, municipal, contractor, facility, and industrial purchasing teams with bulk quote support, volume pricing, purchase orders, and sourcing assistance.

Safety Note
Chemical protective clothing must be selected based on the specific chemical, concentration, exposure route, splash risk, permeation data, seam construction, task duration, respiratory protection needs, and the complete PPE ensemble. This coverall alone does not create a Level B or Level C hazmat ensemble. Confirm DuPont permeation data and your safety manager or EHS program before use.

Buying Guide: QC125S vs. Higher-Protection Tychem Suits
Choose Tychem 2000 QC125S when workers need lightweight light-splash chemical protection and do not require a hood, attached boots, taped seams, or encapsulated protection.

Choose a hooded or taped-seam Tychem garment when splash risk, particle control, or biological barrier requirements are higher.

Choose Tychem 6000, Tychem 10000, or an encapsulated suit when the hazard assessment requires stronger chemical barrier performance or Level B/Level A ensemble planning.

FAQ
Is this a Level B hazmat suit?
No. This coverall alone should not be described as a Level B hazmat suit. Level B protection requires a complete PPE ensemble, including appropriate respiratory protection and other equipment.

Does this coverall have a hood?
No. The QC125S version has a collar, elastic wrists, elastic ankles, zipper, storm flap, and serged seams.

What is Tychem 2000 used for?
Tychem 2000 is used for light liquid splash protection in industrial environments such as chemical processing, petroleum refining, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and maintenance.

Is this reusable?
Tychem limited-use garments are generally treated as disposable or limited-use protective clothing. Reuse should only be determined by the employer’s safety program after inspection and based on contamination/exposure conditions.
