This hooded DuPont Tychem suit provides a more substantial chemical barrier than general-purpose Tyvek disposable coveralls. Tychem 4000 fabric combines a chemical-resistant Saranex 23-P film with a rugged Tyvek substrate. The SL122B configuration includes a standard-fit hood, elastic wrists, attached socks, bound seams, and a front zipper covered by an adhesive storm flap. The pin-lock zipper pull helps keep the closure in position during use.
The attached socks extend garment material over the feet but are not protective footwear. They must be worn inside compatible chemical-resistant outer boots selected for the hazard.
