The LIFT DAX Fifty/50 Pink Full Brim Hard Hat is a fiber-reinforced resin Type I Class G hard hat designed for construction, utilities, oil and gas, manufacturing, maintenance and other demanding industrial environments. The pink shell, full-brim profile and recognizable DAX design combine professional head protection with a distinctive color for worker, crew or department identification.

This DAX hard hat meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type I Class G requirements. Type I protection is designed to reduce impact force from blows to the top of the head. Class G identifies general electrical protection and is proof-tested at 2,200 volts under the applicable standard.

The full brim provides coverage around the helmet perimeter to help deflect sun, rain and falling debris. LIFT’s Brim Grip textured edge provides a more secure grip when workers handle or adjust the hard hat while wearing gloves.

A six-point suspension system helps distribute force and support a secure fit. The perforated synthetic leather comfort dome includes a molded EVA foam insert for additional crown cushioning, while a foam-backed, moisture-wicking microfiber liner helps manage perspiration during extended wear.

The oversized ratcheting dial allows workers to adjust the fit with bare hands or work gloves. The standard DAX sizing range accommodates head sizes 6½–8, approximately 52–64 cm in circumference. High-Heat Workplace Performance

LIFT reports that the shell has been tested against radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding, 350°F (177°C). This does not mean the hard hat is flameproof or appropriate for direct flame, molten-metal contact or every high-temperature process. Confirm suitability through your workplace hazard assessment.

Pink Hard Hat for Crews and Workplace Programs

Although pink hard hats are frequently purchased for women in construction, this model is not gender-specific. Fit, suspension adjustment, impact type, electrical class and workplace hazards should determine whether the hard hat is suitable for an individual worker.

The pink color may also support crew identification, designated visitor programs, awareness initiatives or department-specific PPE policies. Explore women’s PPE and industrial workwear for more properly fitted workplace equipment.

Bulk Ordering & Procurement Support

Need LIFT DAX hard hats for a contractor, municipal department, utility, industrial facility or recurring head-protection program? Organizations purchasing head protection for crews can request a formal PPE quote from ASA, LLC. American Safety Associates, LLC (ASA, LLC) supports business, government, municipal, contractor, facility and industrial purchasing teams with bulk quotes, volume pricing, purchase orders and product sourcing assistance. Compare this model with our LIFT DAX full brim hard hat options.

Safety Note

Type I hard hats provide top-impact protection and should not replace Type II head protection where side-impact hazards are identified. The Class G 2,200-volt figure is a laboratory proof-test value, not a safe working voltage or guarantee against electrical injury. Head protection does not replace electrical insulating PPE, safe work practices, lockout procedures or an appropriate hazard assessment.

Inspect the shell and suspension before every use. Remove the hard hat from service following an impact or when cracks, deformation, UV damage, chemical damage, worn suspension components or other deterioration are found.

Buying Guide: Type I vs. Type II Hard Hats

Choose a Type I hard hat when the hazard assessment identifies potential impacts primarily to the top of the head. Choose Type II head protection when foreseeable hazards include impacts to the front, back or sides.

A full brim describes the physical shape of the hard hat; it does not indicate Type II protection. This DAX Fifty/50 is a full-brim Type I hard hat. Compare additional hard hats and industrial head protection based on impact type, electrical class and workplace hazards.

Buying Guide: Class G vs. Class E

Class G hard hats are intended for general electrical protection and are proof-tested at 2,200 volts. Class E hard hats are intended for higher-voltage electrical hazards and are proof-tested at 20,000 volts.

Proof-test ratings are not safe approach voltages. Select the electrical class through an electrical hazard assessment and applicable workplace requirements.

Care & Inspection

  • Inspect the shell and suspension before each use

  • Replace after a significant impact, even if damage is not visible

  • Do not drill holes or make unauthorized modifications

  • Do not apply unapproved paint, chemicals, solvents or adhesives

  • Use only compatible, manufacturer-approved accessories

  • Store away from excessive heat, sunlight and chemicals

  • LIFT provides a general five-year replacement guideline, but harsh conditions may require earlier replacement
