Understanding the Cut Rating
Cordova lists ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 cut level A2, with a reported result of 889 grams. Use the full A2 designation when comparing gloves; a generic “level 2” label can refer to a different test or older classification system.
Cut resistance does not mean cut-proof. Select gloves according to the edges, forces and handling motions involved in the task. The reviewed Cordova documentation does not provide a numerical abrasion rating for this model. PVC dots improve grip, but they do not establish protection against liquids, chemicals or electrical hazards.
Grip, Fit and Daily Use
The two-sided dot pattern provides a gripping surface whichever hand wears the glove. Check fit with the actual parts and tools being handled. Excess material at the fingertips can interfere with control, while a tight fit can restrict movement.
