Black industrial rain suit with jacket, pants and hood
This black industrial rain suit combines a jacket, matching pants, and detachable hood in one three-piece set. ASA lists nylon/PVC material, fully taped seams, and a mesh interior for wet-weather work. Yellow trim contrasts with the black fabric. The jacket closes with a zipper and snaps, while the pants use an elastic waistband and drawstring for adjustment.
Key features
- Separate jacket and pants for coordinated coverage.
- Detachable hood for changing weather.
- Mesh interior separates the outer material from clothing.
- Two front jacket pockets with flaps.
- Pants openings provide access to underlying pockets.
Applications
For ordinary rain exposure where specialized protective clothing is unnecessary:
- Outdoor facility maintenance.
- Delivery and loading tasks.
- Groundskeeping and landscaping.
- General wet-weather work away from traffic hazards.
Practical rain coverage
The PVC component provides a water barrier, and taped seams help limit water entry through stitched areas. Close the jacket and position the hood before entering rain. Check how the jacket overlaps the pants when reaching, bending, or carrying equipment.
Pocket flaps cover the jacket openings, but they are not sealed waterproof containers. Keep phones, documents, and other moisture-sensitive items in separate protective storage. Side pocket access on the pants reaches clothing underneath; it should not be mistaken for an additional enclosed storage pocket.
Check jacket and pants fit separately
Select a size using garment measurements and the clothing you plan to wear underneath. Check chest, waist, seat, inseam, and sleeve coverage rather than relying only on your usual shirt size. A jacket that fits does not establish that the matching pants will fit equally well.
Try the set over normal workwear and confirm that you can bend your knees, squat, and reach without pulling the seams tight. Adjust the waistband without restricting movement. Avoid loose material near moving equipment, and confirm that the hood does not obstruct vision.
Compare work rain suits when selecting a different material, fit, or protective classification for your job.
Visibility and protection limits
Yellow trim alone does not establish ANSI/ISEA 107 compliance or a reflective performance rating. Select appropriately certified apparel when your workplace requires high-visibility clothing. This listing does not establish flame resistance, arc protection, chemical resistance, or electrical insulation.
A mesh lining does not prove that the coated fabric is breathable. Consider workload, temperature, and ventilation when planning wear, especially during physical activity.
Black rain suit FAQ
What does three-piece mean?
It means one jacket, one pair of pants, and one detachable hood. It does not mean three complete suits.

Great Rain Suit
I purchased this suit to wear while making deliveries when raining. It is well made and serves it's purpose. The only problem I have is the X-large jacket fits well but the pants are too exact. I will see if I can order some pants separate in 2x.
