The Portwest UFR81 specification sheet PDF lists ASTM F1959 ATPV 16 cal/cm², EN ISO 11612 A1, B1, C1, F1 and EN 1149-5. It also lists IEC 61482-1-2 APC 1 and separate IEC 61482-1-1 results: ELIM 9.2 and ATPV 15 cal/cm².
Keep test methods and results together. APC 1 is a box-test classification, not the same as ARC 2. The current sheet does not list NFPA 2112 or a welding-specific certification; do not infer either from flame resistance alone.
OSHA Requirements and Safe Selection
OSHA 1910.335(a)(1)(i) requires electrical PPE appropriate to the hazards and exposed body parts. OSHA 1910.269(l)(8) addresses arc and flame protection for covered electric-power work.
