Nylon Mesh Hair Net 21″ – Disposable, 1000/Case
ComfortSafe 21-inch disposable mesh hair nets help contain hair in food service, food processing, cafeterias, bakeries and institutional kitchens. Lightweight nylon with 1/16-inch honeycomb-style openings allows airflow, making this open-mesh design a practical option for warm food preparation and production areas.
The elastic edge helps position the net around gathered hair. The 21-inch size suits many wearers with shorter or tied-back hair; check that all hair stays contained during normal movement. Brown and white options support facility appearance preferences, visibility needs or department identification.
Each case contains 1,000 hair nets in 10 bags of 100. Distribute inner bags among production entrances, hygiene stations and visitor check-in points. Case packaging supports recurring supplies for business, school, municipal and institutional purchasing teams.

Buying Guide: 21-Inch vs. 24-Inch Hair Nets vs. Bouffant Caps
Choose the 21-inch net when it comfortably contains the wearer’s hair without overstretching. A 24-inch version provides more room for longer hair, larger head sizes or fuller hairstyles. Offering both sizes can help teams achieve a suitable fit.
Bouffant caps provide fuller fabric coverage and may be required by facility policy. Mesh openings do not establish a filtration rating, and a bouffant cap is not automatically cleanroom-rated. Select the covering that meets your contamination-control requirements.
Food Hygiene Requirements
FDA 21 CFR 117.10(b)(6) addresses effective hair restraints where appropriate in covered food operations. USDA FSIS 9 CFR 416.5 sets employee hygiene requirements for covered meat and poultry establishments.
These rules do not establish “USDA approval” of this hair net. Follow your facility’s GMP, HACCP and sanitation procedures. NN21 is a hair restraint, not a respirator or medical barrier; sterile and cleanroom classifications are not verified.
Use and Replacement
Gather hair before fitting the net with clean hands. Check the hairline and back of the head for loose strands. Replace after use or when torn, soiled or stretched, and keep unused stock protected from contamination.
FAQ
- Are these hair nets latex-free? A supplier declaration covering the elastic and finished net has not been verified. Confirm before selection for latex-sensitive wearers.
- Can they be washed and reused? No. These are disposable, single-use hair nets.
- Do they also contain beard hair? No. Use a separate beard restraint where required.
- Is 21 inches a head-circumference measurement? The listing specifies net diameter, not head circumference. Check actual fit and complete hair coverage.
