Organic vapor coverage and P100 filtration
The P100 component provides at least 99.97% filtration efficiency against particles under applicable test conditions, including oil-based aerosols. That rating describes particulate filtration. It does not identify which gases or vapors a cartridge can handle.
The 60921 is for certain organic vapors, not every gas or vapor. If a task involves other contaminants, select the appropriate approved cartridge rather than relying on a similar housing or shared P100 marking. The chemical identity and exposure concentration matter more than the industry name or the general task description.
Compatible 3M reusable facepieces
3M lists compatible 6000 Series half and full facepieces, 6500 and 7500 Series half facepieces, and 7800S and FF-400 Series full facepieces. Check the exact assembly against its approval label and instructions. These cartridges use the 3M bayonet connection; they are not universal fittings for other brands.
The paired cartridge arrangement supports replacement on an existing approved respirator. Follow the facepiece instructions for installation and the user seal check. Confirm that the respirator remains properly fitted with any other required equipment.
Leave the contaminated area if breakthrough is suspected or breathing becomes difficult. Replace affected cartridges according to the instructions and workplace procedure. Keep unused stock protected from contamination in its original product packaging.

How many shifts will a pair last?
