Verified Cut and Mechanical Ratings
The manufacturer specification sheet lists ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A2. Cordova’s product page also reports a 550-gram cut result. A2 is a laboratory classification, not a guarantee against cuts or suitability for every sharp object.
Cordova lists EN 388: 4342: abrasion 4, circular-blade cut 3, tear 4 and puncture 2. The EN circular-blade test differs from ANSI testing; EN cut Level 3 does not mean ANSI A3. This marking does not establish hypodermic-needle protection.
Applicable OSHA Requirements

Choosing A2 Protection
Consider the force, edge shape and frequency of contact involved in each task. For more demanding cut exposures, compare higher-rated models using the same standard. Keep other hazards separate: a cut rating does not establish impact, electrical or thermal protection. Confirm that the selected glove permits secure handling throughout work.
Grip, Fit and Care
Trial grip with actual components before issuing gloves. Oil, moisture, surface finish and coating wear can affect handling. The palm coating does not make the complete glove waterproof or establish a chemical barrier.
Choose a size that allows finger movement without loose material interfering with control. Follow workplace restrictions around rotating machinery. Inspect the shell, coating and seams before use; replace damaged gloves.
Cordova specifies washing with commercial laundry detergent at no more than 50°C/122°F. Air dry or tumble dry without heat. Compare other cut-resistant gloves when the job requires different protection or coverage.
