Torq Hail Xtra™ gloves are engineered for demanding industrial work where workers need high-level impact protection, palm cut resistance, grip, dexterity, and visibility. Built for harsh environments, these gloves combine an orange AireFlex® synthetic leather palm, PVC grip dots, a Tuffalene® UHMWPE cut-resistant palm liner, and patented TPR back-of-hand impact protection for multi-hazard hand protection.
The orange AireFlex® synthetic leather palm provides durable, flexible hand protection, while PVC dots improve grip in wet, oily, and slippery conditions. The dots also create small air gaps that help with heat dissipation during long shifts. A thin woven Tuffalene® UHMWPE liner is placed inside the palm to provide ANSI A7 palm-only cut resistance without making the glove feel bulky.
For visibility and comfort, the water-repellent high-visibility yellow/green spandex back conforms to the hand and supports breathability. Soft, flexible, high-visibility orange and gray patented TPR impact protection covers the fingers, thumb, knuckles, and metacarpal bones to help protect against impact hazards, pinch points, and struck-by contact. These gloves meet ANSI/ISEA 138-2019 Impact Level 3, the highest impact rating under the standard.
The black AireFlex® synthetic leather reinforced thumb crotch and fourchettes help increase abrasion resistance, comfort, and dexterity. A wing thumb design reduces hand stress and supports a natural grip. The touchscreen-compatible index finger allows workers to use mobile devices, scanners, tablets, and jobsite equipment screens without removing their gloves.
Every seam is sewn with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber for added durability and strength. The gusseted spandex wrist opening stretches for easier donning and doffing, while the elastic cuff with hook-and-loop closure helps secure the glove to the wrist and reduce slipping during use. A pull tab at the wrist makes the gloves easier to put on.
These gloves are a strong choice for oil and gas, construction, utilities, mining support, manufacturing, demolition, steel handling, rigging, material handling, heavy equipment maintenance, and municipal or government safety programs that require cut, impact, grip, and visibility performance.
