Choosing Pallet Covers and Thermal Blankets
Compare cover style, load dimensions, insulation, outer material, closure and access, handling requirements, reusability, cleaning guidance, and product-specific thermal performance. Select the cover or blanket according to the shipment lane, cargo, ambient conditions, exposure time, pallet configuration, and required temperature range.
A passive insulated cover or blanket can help slow heat transfer, but it does not actively heat, cool, refrigerate, or guarantee a cargo temperature. Validate the complete packaging and transportation system under expected conditions. Use appropriate monitoring, qualified packaging, and active temperature control when required for food, pharmaceutical, biologic, or other regulated shipments.
