Hi-Vis Packaway Rainsuit for Wet-Weather Work
The rainsuit combines a waterproof jacket and trousers for construction, utility, municipal and outdoor maintenance crews. Its 190T polyester fabric has a PVC coating and sealed seams to resist rain penetration. Reflective tape supports visibility, while the lightweight set rolls up for storage in service vehicles, field kits or workplace lockers.
The PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finish helps water bead away from the fabric surface. A pack-away hood, drawcord hood and jacket hem, inner elasticated cuffs and fully elasticated trouser waistband help adjust the fit. Snap-adjustable leg hems position the trousers around footwear, and two lower jacket pockets provide storage.

Manufacturer-Listed Standards
Portwest lists EN ISO 20471 Class 3, EN 343 Class 3:1 X and EN 13758 UPF 40+, alongside the separate ANSI jacket and trouser classifications above. Class E trousers are supplemental visibility apparel, not a standalone Class 3 garment. Portwest states EN ISO 20471 performance after 25 washes; follow the garment’s care label and replace damaged clothing sooner.
Safety and Comfort
The vented yoke improves airflow; it does not establish highly breathable PVC-coated fabric. Account for heat buildup during active work. Keep reflective areas visible and fasten the garments correctly.
OSHA 1910.132 addresses protective equipment selection and use where workplace hazards require it. These visibility and rain-protection ratings do not establish chemical, arc-flash or flame protection.
Fit, Care and Storage
ASA lists M–5XL options. Allow room for work clothing and check movement at the shoulders, waist and knees. Wash at a maximum of 104°F (40°C) using a mild process; do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Drip line dry completely before rolling up for storage. Inspect seams, coating and reflective tape before reuse.
