FR Treatment Has a Washing Limitation
OccuNomix specifies FR treatment on the cotton-twill top only until washed. Do not treat the as permanently flame-resistant or assume that the complete liner is arc-rated. This treatment alone does not establish suitability for welding, flash fire or electrical arc exposure. Select separately verified protective headwear when those hazards are present.
Hard-Hat Fit and Cold-Work Guidance
OSHA’s winter-liner guidance recommends liners compatible with the helmet’s protective properties and consultation with the hard-hat manufacturer. Check suspension clearance, retention and fit; keep the liner clear of vision and any respirator sealing surface.
