P95 identifies a particulate filter with at least 95% filtration efficiency under its certification test conditions, including testing with oil aerosols. This percentage describes filter performance, not the protection achieved by every wearer. Facepiece fit, exposure concentration, correct assembly, and the workplace respiratory protection program also matter.
Part 818354 is the standard P95 version. It does not provide gas or vapor protection or the nuisance odor relief offered by certain other Flexi-Filter models. Painting and welding can produce hazards beyond particles; do not select this filter from the job name alone.

Can I use these for asbestos removal?
No. P95 filters do not meet the HEPA filtration requirement for air-purifying respirators used for asbestos. The required respirator type also depends on the work and exposure.
Are P95 and P100 interchangeable ratings?
No. P100 specifies at least 99.97% filtration efficiency. Choose the class required by the hazard assessment and applicable standard.
