MSA G1 SCBA breathing apparatus is a supplied-air respirator that includes a facepiece that is lightweight and compact. The msa scba unit respirator is designed to maintain a positive air pressure inside the facepiece during inhalation and exhalation. The face mask has a molded polycarbonate lens with four-point silicone head harness for exceptional comfort and security. This SCBA is the industrial version of what fire fighters use. The new G1 iRC (industrial remote cylinder connection) version is a SCBA platform that features a remote cylinder connection, available with both threaded and quick connect attachments. It allows for cylinder compatibility among other MSA SCBA such as the G1 NFPA, Airhawk 2 and Firehawk M7.
