Flame Retardant Clothing
Flame-Retardant – Industrial & High-Visibility FR Treated Garments
Our Flame-Retardant Clothing collection delivers protective apparel treated to self-extinguish when exposed to flame hazards. These garments are chemically treated (flame-retardant) to slow ignition and reduce burn severity, making them ideal for industrial environments where occasional fire or spark exposure is a concern. From high-visibility vests and FR shirts to full-body coveralls, these items help you meet safety protocols without requiring inherently fire-resistant fibers.
Whether you're outfitting a utility crew, road maintenance team, or oil-field workforce, this category provides FRT garments that maintain compliance, comfort, and functionality across demanding work scenarios. These items are especially suited for operations that require visibility + flame treatment, but not necessarily arc-flash or high-heat protection.

What Standards This Product Category Meets
-
These garments are treated to be self-extinguishing, but are not necessarily arc-rated; check the label for FR certification.
-
Many styles are designed to meet or reference ANSI/ISEA 107 performance expectations when flame resistance is required alongside visibility. According to ANSI, a garment labelled “FR” must meet one of the designated test methods (e.g., ASTM F1506, ASTM F1891, ASTM F2302, etc.).
-
FRT treatment durability depends on care: harsh detergents or high-heat drying can degrade the chemical coating.
-
For true arc or flash-fire risk, choose garments that meet NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, or similar “inherent FR” standards, which may be more appropriate.
