Velocity Fall Arrest System

Velocity Fall Arrest System made for is a personal safety system for fall protection to be used with structures that can withstand loads of up to 5000 lbs. It can also be used as a restraint device to keep workers from getting to close to the ledge. When used as a restraint system it can only be used on surface with a slope of 4 1/2 feet. Velocity SLR cable is compliant with OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926 Supart M, ANSI Z359.14-2012, and ANSI A10.32-2012 safety regulations. Velocity Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRL) feature swivel tops and swivel snap hooks, as well as lightweight and durable glass-filled nylon housing.

• Part #s 42006, 42007, and 42008: No free fall is permitted. SRL must always be positioned at or above harness dorsal D-ring.

• Part #s 42000, 42001, 42002, 42003, 42004, and 42005: No free fall is permitted, and SRL must always be positioned at or above harness dorsal D-ring. OR, if used in combination with compatible shock absorber extension, maximum 2’ free fall, and SRL may be positioned a maximum 2’ below harness dorsal D-ring.

For all applications: worker weight capacity range (including all clothing, tools, and equipment) is 130-310 lbs., or up to 420 lbs. if used in combination with equipment explicitly certified for such use.
