Fall Protection - Body Harness

American Safety Associates LLC carries Miller, Sala, SafeWaze, and MSA fall protection products such as body harness, shock absorbing lanyards, cross-arm straps and lifelines for construction workers, and other hazardous work environments that require fall protection equipment. OSHA has strict ANSI and CSA requirements and standards for fall protection equipment use. ANSI Z359.1-2007 standards establishes the safety requirements for personal fall arrest systems, subsystems, and fall protection components. Effective October 15, 2007, all gate strength requirements have increased to 3600 lbs. in all directions of potential load to the gate for snap hooks and carabiners. Adherence to this standard is entirely voluntary and does not prohibit manufacturers from producing fall protection products that do not comply with the new standard.
